Katelyn Grano
NGO: Pathways To Peace


Katelyn Grano is a youth representative for Pathways To Peace at the United Nations and currently attends Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York where she is working towards a double concentration in International Business and Finance, with a minor in Economics. She has a strong background in Conflict Resolution and Transformation as well as in Mediation and Negotiation. Additionally, she has a diplomatic training certification in Conflict Resolution as a Weapon Against Poverty, through Columbia Law School and UNITAR. Katelyn also serves as a member of the Youth Representatives Steering Committee to the Department of Global Communications and was one Co-chair of the Youth Sub-committee of the 68th United Nations Civil Society Conference, in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2019. While at Marist College, she has taken a position as a member of CSAC, which is the sustainability board for the college. Through this position, she has been able to work towards making Marist College more eco-friendly and sustainable. Aside from her work with the United Nations, Katelyn is highly involved with the environment and its sustainability while also aiming to resolve global issues and create peaceful encounters and dialogues.
